What Is the MagVenture Atlas?

The MagVenture Atlas is a state-of-the-art TMS platform that uses real-time neuronavigation and 3D brain mapping to guide treatment with remarkable accuracy. Unlike standard TMS systems that rely on general landmarks or measurements, Atlas pinpoints the exact area of your brain that needs stimulation and keeps the treatment precisely aligned every time.

Your treatment plan is developed by our Harvard-trained, double board-certified psychiatrist, and customized using the MagVenture Atlas system to reflect your specific brain patterns and needs.

How the MagVenture Atlas Works

  • 3D Brain Mapping
Using anatomical data (often from an MRI), the Atlas system creates a personalized brain map for each patient, identifying the specific regions involved in depression.
  • Neuronavigation
Atlas uses a sophisticated camera system and sensors to continuously track the position of the TMS coil in relation to your head, adjusting in real-time to stay perfectly aligned.
  • Individualized Targeting
Every brain is different. Atlas allows your clinician to select the precise stimulation target for optimal outcomes far beyond the limitations of standard “one-size-fits-all” protocols.
  • Consistent & Repeatable Treatments
Because Atlas tracks movement and adjusts in real-time, your brain receives consistent stimulation at the right location, even if you shift slightly during a session.

What to Expect During Treatment

  • Non-Invasive & Medication-Free
Atlas TMS is a safe, FDA-cleared treatment that involves no sedation, no systemic side effects, and no downtime. You’ll be awake and alert during your session.
  • Quick Sessions, Lasting Relief
Treatments typically last 20–30 minutes, and patients often begin to feel a difference within a few weeks of starting care.
  • Comfortable, Precise Care
The Atlas system is designed with patient comfort in mind. Less noise, real-time adjustments, and highly trained clinicians by your side at every visit.

A Tailored Journey
Your treatment plan is developed by our Harvard-trained, double board-certified psychiatrist, and customized using the Atlas system to reflect your specific brain patterns and needs.
